The Tura Urban Cooperative Bank Ltd., Tura was established on 30th November, 1974 and Registered as a Cooperative Society on 31-03-1975 vide Registration No. T-4 of 1974-75. The Bank received License from Reserve Bank of India on 20-03-2002 vide License no. UBD [MEG] 0001P dt. 20/03/2002

[1] To encourage thrift, Self-Help and Co-operation among members. 

[2] To accept deposit of money from the public, repayable on demand or otherwise, and withdrawal by Cheque, Draft, Order, or otherwise for the purpose of Lending or Investment.

[3]To Lend or to Advance money to members and to negotiate Loans & Advances.

[4] To prepare and to finance Schemes for restoration of the financial condition of members.

[5] To provide financial and technical assistance to Self- Employed persons for setting up their own business.

[6] To do all such other things as are incidental and conducive to the promotion or advancement of those objects and to the business of the bank.
